Should Ukrainians expect snow and frost for Christmas: weather forecasters give the answer

During the Christmas holidays, December 24-25, wet snow will fall in some Ukrainian regions, and the air temperature will be below zero.

This was the answer given by “Ukrhydrometeorological Center” to the request of “ Pryamy ”.

According to weather forecasters, on the night of December 23-24, thermometers will fluctuate within -3°C…+3°C. At the same time, temperatures of up to 8°C are expected in the south of the country these days.

Instead, a significant cooling is forecast for December 25-27 — by 3-7°C. Thus, in some places at night the frost will reach -10°C, during the day the temperature will be 0°C…-6°C.

No significant precipitation is expected in most parts of Ukraine during the Christmas period. However, snow and sleet will fall in the south and southeast on December 25-26.

Separately, the Ukrhydrometcenter noted that there is no forecast for the New Year yet, it will be available only on December 26, and the data will be updated daily for 5 days.
