Rostyslav Shurma, former deputy head of President Yermak’s Office and currently under investigation by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU), stated that he is willing to cooperate with the investigation, but only from Germany.
He wrote about this on his Facebook page.
Shurma stated that he is not hiding from the investigation and is ready to cooperate in the criminal proceedings.
“As of today, my permanent place of residence is the Federal Republic of Germany, which is known to the pre-trial investigation body.
“It is for this reason that I have repeatedly made official requests to ensure my participation in the proceedings in the manner prescribed by law—via videoconference or on the premises of Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad,” Shurma stated.
Shurma added that he does not admit guilt in committing any crime and is convinced that he did not commit any illegal actions.
He also noted that he sees “signs of selective and politically motivated pressure accompanying this proceedings.”

It was previously reported that NABU and SAP submitted documents to place businessmen Timur Mindich and Alexander Tsukerman, defendants in the “Midas” case involving corruption in the energy sector, on Interpol’s wanted list .
As a reminder, only 19% of Ukrainians surveyed believe that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was unaware of corruption in his circle and was not involved in the “Mindich scheme.”
