Since the start of May 24, 52 combat clashes between the Ukrainian Defense Forces and Russian occupiers have been recorded on the front. The enemy has been most active in the Pokrovsk area.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in construction as of 16:00.
In the Pokrovsk sector, Russian troops attempted 24 times to dislodge Ukrainian defenders from their positions in the areas of Toretskoye, Novooleksandrivka, Rodynskoye, Grishinoye, Udachnoye, Molodetskoye, and in the direction of Kucherov Yar, Shevchenko, and Belitskoye. As of the evening, two combat clashes were ongoing.
One combat engagement occurred in the Severo-Slobozhansky and Kursk directions. The Russians carried out two airstrikes using six guided bombs and 23 shelling attacks on Ukrainian troop positions and settlements.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, one military clash was recorded near Figolovka.
In the Liman sector, Ukrainian forces repelled seven attacks in the areas of Drobyshevo, Dibrova, Yampol, and Liman. Two battles on this sector of the front are ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces successfully stopped four attempts by the invaders to advance near Zakotnoye and Rai-Aleksandrovka.
In the Kramatorsk direction, there is one enemy attack in the Nikiforovka area.
In the Konstantinovka direction, Russian troops carried out seven attacks near Pleshcheyevka, Ivanopol, Konstantinovka, Ilyinovka and Rusiny Yar.
In the Aleksandrovsk direction, the enemy once tried to attack in the Ternovoye area.
In the Hulyai-Polye direction, Ukrainian troops repelled seven Russian attacks near Pryluky, Zheleznodorozhny, and in the directions of Gorky, Novoye Zaporizhzhia, and Staroukrainka.
The General Staff also noted that the enemy had not carried out any offensive operations in the Kupyansk, Orekhiv, and Dnieper directions, and that no significant changes had yet been recorded in other areas of the front.
