Since the start of Monday, January 5, 80 combat clashes have been recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The enemy has been most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where it launched 27 attacks.

This is stated in the construction of the General Staff as of 16:00.

In the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions, the enemy launched 31 attacks, including two from multiple launch rocket systems.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, Ukrainian defenders stopped one enemy attack in the Vovchansk area.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy twice attempted to advance towards Kurilovka and Kupyansk.

Eight attacks by the invaders have been recorded in the Liman direction, and one battle is ongoing.

In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled two attacks near Zakotnoye, and one combat clash continues.

The enemy did not carry out any offensive actions in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Konstantinovsky direction, Ukrainian soldiers stopped 12 enemy assaults, and another battle continues.

Since the start of the day, the occupiers have attempted to push back the Ukrainian defenders in the Pokrovsk sector 27 times. Defense forces have already repelled 20 attacks and continue to hold off the pressure.

In the Aleksandrovsk direction, the enemy attacked five times in the areas of the settlements of Vishnevoye and Soglasie.

In the Gulyai-Polye direction, the Defense Forces repelled 16 attacks by Russian troops, and five combat clashes continue.

No enemy offensive actions have been detected in the Orekhovo direction.

In the Dnieper direction, the enemy once attacked in the area of the Antonovsky Bridge.
