Ukrainian Forces Repel 119 Russian Assaults Across 12 Frontlines in a Single Day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that as of 22:00 on August 7, Ukrainian defenders had repelled 119 Russian assaults across 12 frontline sectors since the start of the day.
In total, 119 combat clashes have occurred since the start of the day. Ukrainian defenders are steadfastly repelling the enemy’s attempts to advance deeper into our territory, inflicting significant losses. The Russian invaders launched one missile strike and 55 airstrikes, employing two missiles and dropping 104 guided bombs. In addition, they used 1,724 kamikaze drones and carried out 4,015 attacks on the positions of our troops and civilian settlements.
Ten clashes with Russian forces took place in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions.
The enemy attacked four times in the South Slobozhansk direction — in the areas of Vovchansk and Figolivka — and one battle is still ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy launched nine assaults near Myrne, Holubivka, Kindrashivka, Stepova Novoselivka, and Zahryzove.
In the Lyman direction, the Defense Forces repelled 19 assaults in the areas of Zelenaya Dolyna, Karpivka, Yampolivka, Kolodyazi, and Torske, as well as toward Serebryanka, Hryhorivka, and Olhivka. Two more battles are currently underway.
In the Siversk direction, the enemy attacked four times near Hryhorivka and Fedorivka, but was repelled.
Since morning, in the Kramatorsk direction, the invaders attacked near Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarkove, and Stupochky. All five attacks were repelled.
Nine clashes occurred in the Toretsk direction. The enemy tried to storm Ukrainian positions near Diliivka, Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, Oleksandro-Kalynove, and Rusyn Yar. One battle is still ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy has attacked 29 times since the start of the day — in the areas of Poltavka, Boykivka, Mykolaivka, Novoekonomichne, Rodynske, Sukhetske, Lysivka, Zapovidne, Zvirove, Kotlyny, Udachne, Zelenyi Kut, and Horikhove. Ukrainian defenders continue to hold back the onslaught, and fighting is still in progress. Preliminary data indicate that 174 occupiers have been neutralized in this sector, including 122 irretrievably. A cannon, eight vehicles, 32 UAVs, two satellite communication terminals, and two UAV control points were destroyed. Four vehicles, three artillery systems, and 11 personnel shelters were also hit.
In the Novopavlivka direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled ten enemy attacks near Filia, Tovste, Zelenе Pole, Vilne Pole, Komyshuvakha, Voskresenka, and toward Novoivanivka. Two battles are still ongoing.
In the Hulyaipole direction, the Defense Forces successfully repelled an enemy assault near Malynivka.
In the Orikhiv direction, Ukrainian defenders thwarted three enemy attacks near Kamyanske and toward Novodanylivka.
The enemy conducted no offensive operations in the Dnipro direction.
No significant changes were recorded in other sectors of the front.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
