Since the beginning of the day, the defense forces have repelled 163 assaults by the Russian army: where did the most clashes take place?

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 p.m. on October 4 regarding the Russian invasion.
In total, 163 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. The enemy launched 1 missile and 54 air strikes, dropped 158 guided bombs. In addition, it engaged 5,226 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out 1,641 shelling of settlements and positions of our troops.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy assault operation. The aggressor launched four air strikes using 13 anti-aircraft missiles and carried out 132 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, 13 of which were using MLRS.
During the day, the enemy stormed the positions of our units four times in the South Slobozhansk direction – near Lyman and towards the settlements of Ternova and Zakharivka; two clashes are ongoing.
In the Kupyansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled one enemy attack in the area of the settlement of Kupyansk-Vuzlovy.
In the Lyman direction, our defenders successfully repelled six attempts by the invaders to advance near the settlements of Derylove, Drobysheve, Zarichne, and Lyman, and another clash is ongoing.
In the Slavyansk direction, the Defense Forces stopped one attempt by the invaders to advance in the Mykolaivka area.
One enemy assault was recorded in the Kramatorsk direction near the settlement of Fedorivka Druhya.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the Defense Forces repelled 22 enemy assaults in the areas of Kostyantynivka, Novoselivka and in the direction of Osykovye, Mykolaipyl’, Raiske, and Torske.
A total of 21 attacks were repelled in the Pokrovsky direction. The occupiers tried to advance in the areas of the settlements of Bilytske, Svitle, Vasylivka, Molodetske and in the direction of Hannivka, Dobropillya, Serhiivka.
According to preliminary estimates, today 71 occupiers were eliminated and 26 were wounded; seven units of automotive equipment, one multiple launch rocket system, seven units of special equipment, one drone control point, two fuel and ammunition depots and 27 enemy shelters were destroyed. One tank, 11 units of automotive equipment, three multiple launch rocket systems, two electronic warfare equipment, four guns, three units of special equipment, seven drone control points and 182 enemy shelters were damaged. 292 drones of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
Our defenders repelled one attack by the invaders in the Oleksandrivka direction in the Novogeorgiivka area.
Two enemy attacks were recorded in the Hulyaipil direction, in the Hulyaipil area and towards the settlement of Kopany.
In the Orikhiv direction, the Defense Forces repelled two enemy attacks, in the area of Malaya Tokmachka and towards Novoyakovlivka.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Dnieper directions.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
