Since the beginning of the day, there have been 116 combat contacts on the front, the hottest being the Pokrovsk direction.

Since the start of March 23, 116 combat clashes have been recorded on the Russian-Ukrainian front. The most active fighting continues in the Pokrovsk sector, where the enemy has launched 17 attacks.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this in construction as of 16:00.

Situation in the directions

There were 13 combat contacts in the North Slobozhansky and Kursk directions.

In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked four times near Volchansk , Volchanskie Khutors and Staritsa.

In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy carried out six assaults on Ukrainian troop positions, with one combat engagement still ongoing.

In the Liman direction, one unsuccessful attempt to advance was recorded near Dibrova.

In the Slavyansk direction, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled three attacks in the areas of Yampol, Platonovka, and Reznikovka, with another battle ongoing.

No active offensive actions have been recorded in the Kramatorsk direction.

In the Konstantinovsky direction, the occupiers carried out 13 attacks, two armed clashes are still ongoing.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled 17 assaults in the areas of Rodynske, Myrnohrad, Hryshine, Pokrovsk , Udachny, and other settlements. One combat engagement is still ongoing.

In the Aleksandrovsk direction, the enemy carried out seven offensive actions.

In the Hulyaipole sector, 13 attacks occurred in the areas of Alenokonstantinovka, Zheleznodorozhny, Hulyaipole , Varvarovka, Zelenoye, Svyatopetrivka, and Myrny. The enemy also carried out airstrikes on a number of populated areas.

No offensive actions were recorded in the Orekhovo direction, however, the Russians carried out airstrikes in the Orekhovo area.

One combat contact occurred in the Dnieper direction.
