Since the beginning of the day, there have been 55 attacks by Russian forces on the front: the hottest ones are in the Pokrovsky direction.

Since the start of April 12, 55 combat clashes have been recorded on the front. Intense fighting continues in the Pokrovsk sector, where Russian troops have attempted to breach Ukrainian units’ defenses 14 times.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this as of 16:00.

In the Pokrovsky direction, attacks took place in the areas of Belitskoye, Rodinskoye, Mirnograd, Grishinoye, Pokrovsky , Udachny, and other settlements. One battle is currently ongoing.

Active hostilities are also recorded:

• in the Konstantinovsky direction – 11 attacks, one of which is ongoing;
• on Gulyaipolsky – 9 attacks;
• on Yuzhno-Slobozhansky – 7 assault attempts, one is ongoing;
• on Slavic – 4 attacks;
• on Aleksandrovsky – 5 attacks.

The situation is less intense in the Kupyansk and Limansk directions, where several attacks have been recorded, some of which are still ongoing.

At the same time, the enemy did not carry out assault operations in the Orekhov and Dnieper directions.

Overall, the situation remains tense, and Russian troops continue to attempt to exert pressure on several sections of the front simultaneously.

As a reminder, Russian dictator Vladimir Putin previously announced an “Easter truce.”

At the same time, it is known that Russia does not plan to continue the so-called Easter truce and states that it is supposedly of a purely humanitarian nature.
