Slovakia is ready to join security guarantees for Ukraine: under what conditions

Slovakia is ready to join in providing security guarantees for Ukraine by providing logistical support to European troops, but it does not plan to deploy its own contingent.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.

As he explained, as part of providing security guarantees, Slovakia can provide transport infrastructure that partners will use.

According to him, such a need will arise if agreements on security guarantees are reached.

Fico previously noted that Slovakia is a small country and therefore cannot play a decisive role in providing security guarantees , but will support all initiatives that contribute to a ceasefire.
