Snow and frost: when and where in Ukraine the weather will change significantly

A sharp cold snap is coming to Ukraine, which will replace the almost summer heat in the middle of this week.

This was reported by weather forecaster Igor Kibalchych.

These days, in most Ukrainian regions, the average daily temperature will drop below +15°C, which will indicate the beginning of meteorological autumn.

In particular, on Wednesday, the influence of a cold front will provoke contrasting and unstable weather. Short-term rains are expected in the northern and western regions, with thunderstorms in places, while the rest of Ukraine will be dry and partly cloudy.

At night, the temperature will drop to +2°C…+7°C in some places. And on Thursday, the first frosts will begin in the West on the surface of the soil and in places in the air — forecasters predict up to -3°C.

At the same time, according to the forecast of weather forecaster Natalka Didenko, wet snow is expected in the Carpathians.

In the remaining regions, no changes in the weather are expected until the end of the week: it will be cold, dry, and without precipitation.
