On Thursday, April 2, a powerful magnetic storm will cover the Earth. Its level is estimated at K-index 5, which corresponds to the “red” level of activity.

This is evidenced by Meteoagent data.

The planet is starting to be affected by a fast-moving stream of solar wind, according to the data. There are also signs of an approaching coronal mass ejection, although it is moving more slowly than expected, so a strong impact may not occur.

Experts warn that the magnetic activity could last for several days. A G2 storm is predicted for April 2, and it will weaken to G1 on April 3-4.

“This could cause prolonged periods of weak to moderate activity,” the scientists note.

During magnetic storms, people may experience headaches, fatigue, or pressure drops. To make it easier to survive this period, it is advised to get more rest, avoid stress, drink water, and not overload the body.

It is also worth getting outside more often, getting enough sleep, and, if necessary, monitoring your blood pressure and taking medication.
