Spain will transfer a large batch of armored vehicles to Ukraine
Spain will transfer 100 VAMTAC armored vehicles and a batch of artillery ammunition to Ukraine in 2026.

Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles announced this during a visit to Kyiv and a meeting with her Ukrainian counterpart.
The delivery of equipment and 155-mm ammunition will begin in May. Some of the armored vehicles are planned to be transferred for the needs of border guards.
Robles emphasized that this aid package demonstrates support for Ukraine and Spain’s commitment to the principles of freedom and security.
She also noted that the number of Ukrainian military personnel who have been trained in Spain will soon exceed 9,000.
It was previously reported that Sweden will transfer modern Tridon Mk2 air defense systems to the Defense Forces, which will strengthen Ukrainian air defense and help shoot down “shaheeds” and other air targets.
As a reminder, the United Kingdom has allocated an additional 100 million pounds to strengthen Ukraine’s air defense.
