Special Operations Forces struck an oil depot and oil terminal in occupied Crimea.

On the night of June 7, Ukrainian Armed Forces Special Operations Forces units struck two key fuel infrastructure facilities of the Russian occupation forces in temporarily occupied Crimea: the Semikolodezyansk oil depot and the marine oil terminal in Feodosia.

This was reported by the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine.

The Semikolodezyanskaya oil depot, located in the village of Yedi-Kuyu, approximately 200 kilometers from the front line, is used by Russian troops as a logistics hub for the storage and transshipment of fuel oil, diesel fuel, and bitumen. The facility houses nine storage tanks with capacities ranging from 700 to 3,000 cubic meters.

The second target was the marine oil terminal in Feodosia, located approximately 250 kilometers from the front line. The terminal is equipped with seven large storage tanks with capacities of 10,000 and 20,000 cubic meters, respectively, and handles the transshipment of petroleum products from rail transport to seagoing vessels.

According to the Special Operations Forces, occupation forces are using this terminal as a backup fuel supply channel to Crimea in the event of disruptions to the main logistics routes.

The Special Operations Forces noted that the systemic destruction of the enemy’s oil refining and fuel infrastructure reduces its logistical capabilities, complicates the provision of troops with fuel, and negatively impacts the economic potential of the aggressor state.

Ukrainian military officials note that they are continuing asymmetrical operations behind enemy lines aimed at weakening Russia’s ability to wage war against Ukraine.
