Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, during a speech in Davos, Switzerland, made a number of statements about Russian oil, the destruction of Russian ships, and a special tribunal for Putin.
In particular, the head of state assured that Ukraine can help NATO sink Russian military vessels that move freely around Greenland. He emphasized that Ukrainians have weapons to destroy ships as they do near Crimea.
He added that the size of the Russian army has stopped increasing, as Ukrainian drones are inflicting significant losses on the enemy – 35,000 occupiers were killed in December.
He also commented on the process of creating weapons by the Russians. According to him, the Russian military-industrial complex is actively producing strike drones and missiles, however, it could not do this without critical components supplied from other countries. This is not only about China, but also other states.
“China is helping — but it’s not the only one…Europe is silent, America is silent, and Putin continues to make missiles,” he said.
Separately, the president noted that there is no progress on creating a special tribunal for Putin.
“Trump conducted an operation in Venezuela and Maduro was arrested. There were different opinions about this. But the fact is a fact — Maduro is in court in New York, sorry, but Putin is not in court,” Zelensky noted.
Separately, he stated that Europe needs to confiscate Russian oil, just as the United States did with Venezuelan crude.
