Spring in Ukraine is testing the weather: warming will be replaced by precipitation

Ukrainians can expect sharp weather changes starting next week. After an almost anomalous warming to +19°C, a short-term cooling with wet snow is possible.

This was reported by weather forecaster Igor Kibalchych, Telegraf reports.

According to him, from March 10 to 16, warm spring weather without precipitation will prevail in Ukraine, with fog possible in some places. At night, the temperature will drop to -3…+4 °C, and during the day it will be about +10…+16 °C. On the Right Bank and Transcarpathia, the air will warm up to +17…+19 °C in some places.

At the same time, from March 14, daytime temperatures will drop slightly — by approximately 2–4 °C due to the arrival of cooler air from central Asia.

Starting on March 16, the weather will become more unstable: cloudiness will increase and light precipitation in the form of sleet and rain is possible in some places.

According to the forecast, the cooling period will not last long. From March 18, the weather will improve again in most areas.

From March 15 to 20, the night temperature will be -2…+4 °C, and during the day – about +6…+13 °C.

“In general, during the second decade of the month, the average air temperature is expected to be consistently higher than the long-term norm by 3-6 °C, and the amount of precipitation will be small, in some regions with their complete absence, as well as the predominance of weak winds and a small amount of cloudiness,” the forecaster noted.
