SSO stopped the Russian assault, driving the occupiers into a trap: details of the operation

Ukrainian Special Operations Forces fighters thwarted the enemy’s attempt to advance in the Kupyansk direction in the Kharkiv region.

This was reported by the press service of the SSO.

“In the Kupyansk direction, a group of soldiers of the 8th separate regiment of the Special Operations Forces prevented the enemy from advancing through their actions,” the report says.

In particular, operators used FPV strike drones to drive the invaders into buildings, after which they cleared several structures where the enemy had taken shelter.

As a result of the operation, the Ukrainian military eliminated three Russian army soldiers, and the rest were forced to retreat.

As is known, the Russian occupiers are using ropes, cords, and inflatable boats to cross the Oskil River in the Kupyansk direction.

Recall that the Russians have developed a logistical route through a gas pipe , with the help of which they overcome Oskil and enter Kupyansk.

Earlier, the head of the Kupyansk MVA, Andriy Besedin, reported on the critical situation : in addition to the infiltration of sabotage groups, the enemy is launching massive shelling on the city and controlling all logistical routes.
