The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ special operations forces have confirmed a successful strike on the Gazprom Neftokhim Salavat oil refinery complex in Bashkortostan, Russia. According to the military, it was the last major gasoline producer in Russia to remain unattacked in 2026.

This was reported by the Special Operations Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The operation was carried out on the night of July 14 by Deep Strike units in cooperation with the underground movement in the Russian Federation “Chernaya Iskra”.

According to preliminary information, Ukrainian drones hit the critically important AVT-6 primary oil distillation unit, and also struck other production facilities of the enterprise.

The SSO noted that to complete the task, the drones traveled about 1,500 kilometers to the target.

Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat is one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes in Russia. The enterprise produces gasoline, diesel fuel, lubricants, petrochemical products and other fuels, which are used, in particular, to support the Russian economy and military logistics.

The command emphasized that the Special Operations Forces will continue to strike strategic targets on Russian territory.

As a reminder, on the night of Tuesday, July 14, drones attacked two strategic oil refineries in Russia. Gazprom Neftekhim Salavat in Bashkortostan and the Afipsky Oil Refinery in the Krasnodar Territory were hit.

As reported, over the past 24 hours, the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine hit or destroyed 1,559 unique targets of the Russian army.
