Ukrainian special forces launched a targeted strike on Russian military facilities in the Kursk region. As a result, the occupiers’ equipment and warehouses were eliminated, including Iskander complexes, which the enemy is actively using for strikes on Ukraine. The occupiers hid them in special hangars at an abandoned poultry farm, but this did not help them.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the destruction of Russian equipment and Iskanders.

The military clarified that the operation itself took place on August 9 on the territory of a former poultry farm, which was used by the 448th missile brigade of the Russian Federation for the hidden storage of Iskander missiles. However, details about the consequences of the strikes only appeared on September 26.

According to the General Staff, the operation resulted in the destruction of a large amount of equipment. Among them:

  • five 9T250 type transport and loading vehicles,
  • one Iskander missile launcher,
  • the Pantsir-S1 anti-aircraft missile and gun complex, which covered the facility,
  • warehouses and enemy vehicles.

The General Staff emphasized that such strikes are part of the Defense Forces’ strategy aimed at reducing the offensive potential of the Russian Federation and forcing it to stop its aggression against Ukraine.

As a reminder, earlier the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, together with other units of the Defense Forces , struck the facilities of the Afipsk oil refinery in the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation . As a result of the strike, a fire broke out at the facility. It was confirmed that production workshops were hit.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a drone distribution logistics point and a field ammunition depot of the Russian army in the temporarily occupied territories.
