The Polish government has approved amendments to the law that provide for the restoration of Starlink funding for Ukraine.

This was reported by the Biznes Alert publication, citing the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Poland.

The new bill includes provisions for financing Starlink, so Poland will continue to pay for satellite internet services.

The official expressed hope that the Polish Sejm will consider the bill during the next four-day session, after which it will be sent to the Senate and then to the president for signature.

It was previously reported that Poland is suspending Starlink funding for Ukraine after President Karol Nawrocki vetoed a law that would have allowed continued support through the Ukraine Assistance Fund.

Recall that in 2022, American billionaire Elon Musk gave the order to disable Starlink satellite terminals over part of the occupied territory of Ukraine , including Kherson, which was then controlled by Russia.
