Stepan Giga fell into a coma

Ukrainian singer Stepan Giga, who is in a Lviv hospital, has fallen into a coma after suffering severe post-operative complications.

This was reported by journalist Vitaly Glagola, citing sources close to the artist’s family.

The singer’s condition is assessed as extremely serious.

According to the journalist, after a second knee surgery, doctors were forced to amputate the artist’s leg. Complications arose due to a sharp rise in blood sugar levels due to stress, which led to critical circulatory problems in the lower limb.

The decision to amputate was taken by doctors as a necessary step, since there were no other ways to stop the dangerous processes and save the patient’s life.
