Sternenko expressed outrage at the inaction of sanctions commissioner Vlasyuk regarding Western components in Shahed.

Volunteer and blogger Sergei Sternenko stated that Russian Shahed attack drones and missiles still use a significant number of Western-made components. He believes Ukraine is not systematically enough in shutting down their supply lines to Russia.

Sternenko wrote about this on Facebook.

“The Shahed, like Russian missiles, contains many Western-made components. I won’t even mention the Chinese jet engines,” he noted.

Sternenko claims that Ukraine is not doing enough systematic work to stop Western countries from supplying such components to Russia.

He also criticized Deputy Head of the Presidential Office Vladislav Vlasyuk, who is responsible for sanctions policy.

“And he doesn’t actually do anything other than hold round tables and make empty statements,” Sternenko said.

At the same time, Ukrainian authorities reported the discovery of new Western components in Russian missiles and drones and work to strengthen sanctions and export controls.
