Storm warning in Zaporizhia: wind, blizzard and ice

In Zaporizhia region, worsening weather conditions are forecast for December 26. Forecasters warn of strong winds, blizzards, and icy roads.

This was reported by the Zaporizhia Regional Center for Hydrometeorology.

According to the forecast, in Zaporizhia and the region, gusts of westerly wind with a speed of 15-20 m/s are expected. Blizzards are possible during the daytime, and ice will form on the roads.

Forecasters have issued a storm warning and set the first level of danger – yellow. Residents of the region are urged to be careful on the roads and pay attention to weather conditions.

It was previously reported that frosty and dry weather will set in in Ukraine on Christmas – no precipitation is forecast, but icy roads will remain.

Let us remind you that dry and cold air has arrived in Ukraine from the Barents Sea, and a further decrease in temperature and the peak of the first wave of frost are expected on December 25.
