France and Germany have agreed to strengthen Ukrainian air defenses after another massive attack by the Russian Federation.

French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said they would provide Ukraine with additional air defense systems.
In addition, France and Germany will work to strengthen the Ukrainian defense industry and will cooperate more closely in the security sector.
“Despite intensive international diplomatic efforts, Russia shows no intention to end its aggressive war against Ukraine,” the leaders stressed.
Previously , Germany agreed to provide Ukraine with two more Patriot air defense systems after reaching an agreement with the United States to replace the transferred equipment.
Recall that the Patriot anti-aircraft missile systems, which the US promised to transfer to Ukraine, will arrive in Germany no earlier than the spring of 2026 .
