Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy confirmed that Ukrainian long-range weapons have struck again at an oil refinery in Ufa, Russia, and also hit a strategic military-industrial complex facility in the Penza region.

The head of state announced this on social networks.

According to Zelensky, this is the second strike on the Ufa oil refinery, which is one of the largest producers of lubricants in Russia.

“For the second time, our sanctions responses to Russia’s protracted war have reached the Ufa oil refinery, one of the largest Russian lubricant producers. The distance is over 1,300 kilometers from the front line,” the president emphasized.

At the same time, Ukrainian weapons struck a strategic facility of the Russian military-industrial complex in the Penza region. According to the president, the enterprise is engaged in the development and production of components for missile weapons, which Russia uses to strike Ukrainian cities.

“Also in the Penza region, Ukrainian weapons have reached a strategic facility of the Russian military-industrial complex, which is engaged in the development and production of components for missile weapons,” Zelensky noted.

The President added that the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to implement a plan for long-range strikes on the military infrastructure of the aggressor state.

“Our plan to apply long-range Ukrainian sanctions is being implemented every day. This is quite fair in response to everything that Russia is doing against us. Peace is needed, and this is what the Russian leadership must realize. Russia must end its war,” the head of state emphasized.

Zelensky also thanked the Ukrainian military for the accuracy and effectiveness of strikes on the enemy’s strategic targets.
