Strike on Kramatorsk: Russia dropped three air bombs, there are dead and wounded

Russian forces have dropped three high-explosive aerial bombs on the center of Kramatorsk, Donetsk region. As of now, five people are known to have died and five injured, but the death toll may rise.

This was reported by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on Facebook.

A rescue operation is underway in Kramatorsk at the site of a Russian airstrike. The airstrike hit the city center, targeting people. At least five people are reported to have been injured and five killed.

The President expressed condolences to the families of the deceased and stressed that the number of victims could increase.

Rescuers, medics, police, and municipal services are working at the scene. They are providing assistance to the victims and clearing the rubble.

The head of the Donetsk OVA, Vadym Filashkin, reported that the strike occurred at around 5:00 p.m.

According to him, experts are inspecting residential buildings to identify possible dead and injured people, as well as to establish the extent of the destruction.

Earlier it was reported that Russian troops carried out an airstrike on Zaporizhia with guided bombs. Several enterprises in the city were hit, one person was killed, and eight others were injured.

As a reminder, Russian troops attacked Vilniansk in Zaporizhia region. The strike resulted in one death, one injury, and significant damage.
