Su-24 and drone launch site: Defense Forces hit new important Russian targets

The defense forces hit a Su-24 aircraft in Saki, a launch site for strike drones in the Donetsk region, and other Russian targets.

This is stated in a statement from the General Staff.

“On September 15 and the night of September 16, 2026, units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck a number of important military facilities of the Russian aggressor,” the report says.

In particular, at the airfield in Saki in temporarily occupied Crimea, the military hit a Su-24 aircraft. The extent of its damage is currently being determined.

In addition, a place for storing, preparing, and launching enemy strike drones was hit near the city of Donetsk.

In Staromlynivka and Pokrovsk, Donetsk region, as well as in Pokrovsk, Zaporizhia region, the control points of the occupiers’ drones were hit.

An enemy ammunition depot was hit in Dovzhansk, Luhansk Oblast.

In Rovenky, Luhansk region, and Berdyansk, Zaporizhia region, the invaders’ fuel and lubricant storage facilities were hit.

Grenadier reconnaissance equipment posts were hit in Suvorovo and Rysovo on the Crimean Peninsula.
