Summary of the General Staff: The Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled 241 attacks by the Russian army in a day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 8 a.m. on April 27, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.
The Defense Forces are repelling attempts by the occupiers to improve their position and advance deep into the territory of Ukraine, inflicting significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment. In total , 241 combat clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours. Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation struck one area of concentration of manpower and two enemy UAV control points.
Yesterday, the enemy carried out 86 air strikes, dropping 257 guided bombs. In addition, it used 6,847 kamikaze drones and carried out 2,673 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops, including 138 from multiple rocket launchers.
The aggressor carried out airstrikes, in particular in the areas of settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region – Novoselivka, Pidhavrilivka, Kolomiytsi; in Zaporizhia, Vozdvizhivka, Samiylivka, Lisne, Novoselivka, Hulyaipilske, Dolynka, Krynychne, Rivne, Rizdvyanka, Yasna Polyana, Listivka, Zarichne, Yuliivka, Mykilske, Orikhiv, Preobrazhenka, Komyshuvakha were affected by airstrikes.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions over the past day, the enemy twice attacked units of our defenders, carried out one airstrike using two anti-aircraft guns, and carried out 78 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including five using MLRS.
In the South Slobozhansk direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units 11 times in the areas of the settlements of Starytsia, Lyman, Okhrimivka, Zemlyanka, Krugle, Krasne Pershe, and Vovchansk.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked nine times towards the settlements of Petropavlivka, Hlushkivka, Kucherivka, Nova Kruglyakivka, Novoplatonivka, and Borivska Andriivka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy tried to penetrate our defenses 10 times, attacking in the direction of Lyman, Dibrova, Shykivka, and Drobyshevy.
In the Slavyansk direction, during the past 24 hours, our defenders stopped one attempt by the occupiers to advance in the Rai-Oleksandrivka area.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Kramatorsk direction.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the enemy carried out 26 attacks near Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Illinivka, Ivano-Pol, Oleksandro-Shultyny, Sofiivka, Kucherovy Yar, Stepanivka, Vilny and Rusyny Yar.
In the Pokrovsky direction, our defenders stopped 55 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Nykanorivka, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novopidhorodne, Muravka, Molodetske, Filiya, Bilytske, Oleksandrivka, Vasylivka.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the enemy attacked nine times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Kalynivske, Sichneve, Zlagoda, Khoroshe, Verbove, and Novohrygorivka.
In the Hulyaipil direction, there were 37 attacks by the occupiers towards the settlements of Dobropillya, Zaliznychne, Varvarivka, Charivne, Pryluky, Staroukrainka, Girke, Vozdvizhivka, Svyatopetrivka, Olenokostyantynivka, Tsvitkove and in the Myrne area.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy once advanced towards the positions of our defenders in the Stepovoye area.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy carried out three attacks in the direction of the Antonivskyi Bridge, Bilogruy Island, and Kruhlyk Island.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
Ukrainian defenders continue the systematic destruction of the enemy, putting up effective resistance on all sections of the front.
By the way, last day the losses of the Russian invaders amounted to 810 people . Our soldiers also neutralized four armored combat vehicles, 26 artillery systems, 1,128 unmanned aerial vehicles, and 128 units of automotive equipment.
