Summary of the General Staff: The Defense Forces have repelled 204 attacks by the Russian army since the beginning of the day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 10:00 PM on April 24, 2026 regarding the Russian invasion.
In total, 204 combat clashes have taken place since the beginning of this day. The enemy carried out 50 air strikes – dropped 166 guided bombs. In addition, it used 3,649 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 1,776 attacks on settlements and positions of our troops.
In the North-Slobozhansk and Kursk directions today, the enemy carried out one air strike using three anti-aircraft missiles, carried out 97 attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, 16 of them with MLRS. It carried out six assault operations.
In the South Slobozhansky direction, the enemy attacked the positions of our units five times in the Starytsia area and towards Zybyny and Izbitsky.
In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy attacked eight times, in the area of Novoosynovoye, Kindrashivka and towards Radkivka, Hlushkivka, and Novoplatonivka. One of the assault operations is still ongoing.
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 13 assaults by the invaders, towards the settlements of Hrekivka, Novoyehorivka, Novoserhiivka, Zeleny Gay, Stavky, Drobysheve, Dibrova, and Lyman.
The enemy did not conduct active offensive operations in the Slavic direction.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the occupiers attacked nine times in the direction of Minkivka, Nykyforivka, Bondarne, Fedorivka, and Markovoye. One of the attacks is ongoing.
In the Kostyantynivka direction, the invaders stormed the positions of our defenders 23 times today in the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Pleshchiivka, Ivanopillya, Illinivka, Rusyn Yar, Raiske, Novopavlivka, Toretske, and Stepanivka. Four attacks are ongoing.
In the Pokrovsk direction, the enemy carried out 54 attacks. The occupiers tried to advance towards the settlements of Bilytske, Dorozhne, Rodynske, Myrnograd, Novooleksandrivka, Hryshyne, Vasylivka, Pokrovsk, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Muravka, Novopavlivka, Novopidhorodne and Molodetske.
According to preliminary estimates, today in this direction 59 occupiers were eliminated and 28 were wounded, one unit of enemy vehicles was destroyed. Also, the enemy’s UAV control point, 92 shelters, eight units of vehicles were damaged. 118 UAVs of various types were destroyed or suppressed.
In the Oleksandrivka direction, the invaders attacked four times in the areas of the settlements of Oleksandrivka and towards Kalynivske and Sosnivka.
In the Hulyaipil direction, 11 attacks by the invaders were recorded in the areas of Dobropillya, Tsvitkove, Pryluky, Olenokostyantynivka, Hulyaipilske, Zelene, and Svyatopetrivka. One attack is ongoing.
In the Orikhiv direction, the enemy attacked twice in the direction of Primorsky and in the Stepovoye area.
In the Dnieper direction, the enemy conducted three assault operations in the areas of the Antonivskyi Bridge and Belogrudy Island.
There were no significant changes in the situation in other areas.
