Summary of the General Staff: The Defense Forces repelled 158 attacks by the Russian army on 11 front lines

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published operational information as of 08:00 on July 28, 2025 regarding the Russian invasion.
In total, 158 clashes were recorded over the past 24 hours. According to updated information, the invaders carried out 86 air strikes, dropped 132 guided aerial bombs. In addition, the Russians used 4,413 kamikaze drones to destroy them and carried out 5,960 artillery attacks on the positions of our troops and settlements, including 85 from multiple rocket launchers.
The aggressor carried out air strikes, in particular, on the areas of the settlements of Chuhunivka, Shevyakivka – Kharkiv region; Rodynske, Myrnograd, Mykolaivka, Pokrovsk – Donetsk region; Bilogirya, Novoandriivka, Zarichne, Stepnohirsk – Zaporizhia region; Lviv – Kherson region.
Over the past 24 hours, the Defense Forces’ aviation, missile forces, and artillery have struck eight areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, one gun, and one radar station of the enemy.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to restrain the invaders in the North Slobozhansk and Kursk directions. Thus, over the past day, the enemy carried out 14 air strikes – dropping 31 guided bombs, and carried out 363 shelling, six of which were from multiple rocket launchers. Ukrainian defenders stopped nine enemy assault operations.
In the South-Slobozhansk direction, the aggressor attacked the positions of Ukrainian defenders seven times in the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Zelene, Figolivka, Zapadne and in the direction of Petro-Ivanivka.
Six attacks by the invaders took place in the Kupyansk direction yesterday. Our defenders stopped the enemy’s assault actions in the areas of Radkivka, Holubivka, and Bohuslavka.
In the Lyman direction, the enemy attacked 18 times. He tried to penetrate our defenses in the areas of Hrekivka and in the directions of Seredny, Hryhorivka, and Shandryholovy.
In the Siversk direction, our defenders successfully stopped nine attacks near Serebryanka, Verkhnekamyanske, Hryhorivka, and in the direction of Siversk.
In the Kramatorsk direction, one clash was recorded yesterday near Stupochky.
In the Torets direction, the enemy carried out 12 attacks in the areas of Oleksandro-Kalynovye, Rusynyi Yar, Toretsk, Shcherbynivka, and Yablunivka.
In the Pokrovsk direction, our defenders stopped 57 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Volodymyrivka, Myrnograd, Novoekonomichne, Razine, Myrolyubivka, Lysivka, Zvirovo, Udachne, Horikhove, Oleksiivka, Poltavka, Kotlyne, as well as in the directions of the settlements of Pokrovsk, Bilytske, Novoukrainka, Novopavlivka, Zapovedne, Rodynske.
In the Novopavlivka direction, the enemy yesterday carried out 10 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Zelene Pole, Novodarivka, Piddubne, Myrne, and in the direction of Andriivka-Klevtsovoye, Temyrivka, and Oleksandrograd.
The enemy did not conduct offensive operations in the Hulyaipil and Orikhiv directions.
Over the past 24 hours, the enemy has made five attempts to advance in the Prydniprovs’ky direction.
No signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups were detected in the Volyn and Polissya directions.
Our soldiers inflict significant losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment, and actively undermine the offensive potential of the occupiers in the rear.
In total,the losses of the Russian invaders last day amounted to one thousand people . Ukrainian soldiers also neutralized four tanks, one armored combat vehicle, four artillery systems, one multiple launch rocket system, 235 operational-tactical drones, and 103 units of automotive equipment of the invaders.
