Summer begins with heat: up to +23 degrees and short-term rains

Forecasters predict that warm weather will prevail throughout Ukraine on Monday, June 1. The air temperature in most regions during the day will be from +19 to +23 degrees, and precipitation is possible only in some regions.

This was reported by weather forecaster Natalia Didenko and experts from the Ukrhydrometeorological Center .

“The premiere of summer will take place to our warm applause, because the modest debutants-degrees are already getting rid of their dependence on their cold predecessors and have decided to follow their own, summer path,” the weather forecaster notes.

The coldest weather is expected in the northeast, where the temperature will fluctuate between +17…+19 degrees.

She notes that short-term rains will occur only in the western and eastern regions, with occasional thunderstorms. No precipitation is expected in the rest of the territory. The wind will also weaken significantly: it will be light or moderate, mainly from the north.

The Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center specified that at night the air temperature will be from +5 to +10 degrees, on the sea coast – up to +13 degrees. During the day the air will warm up to +15…+20 degrees.

Rain and thunderstorms are expected in the eastern and western regions, as well as in the Odessa and Vinnytsia regions. The wind is northerly, on the Right Bank it is southeasterly, 5–10 m/s.

They also warn of possible fog in the morning and at night in the eastern regions, most northern regions, as well as in Cherkasy, Kirovohrad and Odessa regions.

No precipitation in Kyiv on June 1. At night, the air temperature will drop to +6…+8 degrees, and during the day it will warm up to +18…+20 degrees.
