Sweden has allocated over 620 thousand euros to support Ukrainian medicine

Sweden has allocated 6.9 million Swedish kronor, or over 628 thousand euros, to support the Ukrainian healthcare system in 2026.
This is stated in a press release from the Swedish government.
The funds will go to the Swecare Foundation, which helps develop cooperation between Swedish and Ukrainian medical institutions.
Swedish Minister for International Development and Trade Benjamin Dusa noted that the new funding will help Ukraine continue its healthcare reform and deepen cooperation with Swedish partners.
He added that such support will also contribute to Ukraine’s European integration and its preparation for future membership in the European Union.
Let us recall that in early July, the State Budget of Ukraine received almost 600 million US dollars to finance social payments to the most vulnerable categories of citizens.
