Sweden will increase support for the World Bank’s Ukraine Relief, Recovery, Reconstruction and Reform Fund (URTF) by 385 million Swedish kronor (35 million euros).

This was announced by the country’s foreign ministry.

“Sweden supports Ukraine through the World Bank. As winter approaches, Sweden is increasing its support to the World Bank’s Ukraine Relief, Recovery, Reconstruction and Reform Fund (URTF),” the report says.

It is noted that the funds will be directed to meet the most urgent needs, strengthen Ukraine’s resilience, and restore it.

Sweden previously announced its readiness to expand military assistance to Ukraine and is considering the possibility of transferring Gripen combat aircraft.
