Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi, during a working trip to the Oleksandrivka direction, assessed the performance of combat missions by Ukrainian units and spoke with commanders.

He reported this on Facebook.

“Another trip to the hot Oleksandrivka direction. Together with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I worked in the combat units of the Airborne Assault Forces group, as well as in adjacent units that confidently hold the defense, conduct active combat operations, and destroy the enemy. The main goal of the trip is to directly assess the performance of combat missions in the brigades’ defense zones, check their combat capability, and communicate with commanders and servicemen on the ground,” Syrsky noted.

According to the Commander-in-Chief, he heard reports from the Commander of the Airborne Assault Forces, commanders of military units and subdivisions on the operational situation, problematic issues, and ways to resolve them.

Syrsky paid special attention to logistical support, emphasizing that it directly affects the effectiveness of the actions of the Ukrainian military on the battlefield.

In addition, the commander-in-chief gave the necessary orders to provide the units with weapons, military equipment, and means of destruction, primarily unmanned attack systems.

“We are consistently increasing the unmanned component. The enemy is increasingly feeling its effectiveness — both deep in its rear and directly on the front line. According to statistics from one day in July, along the entire front line we achieved an advantage over the enemy in the use of FPV drones in a ratio of 1.8:1,” Syrsky reported.

The Commander-in-Chief also presented state awards to military personnel who courageously hold their positions, inflict significant losses on Russian troops, and bring Ukraine’s victory closer every day.

During his conversation with the military, Syrsky emphasized that one of the main priorities remains the maximum preservation of the lives of Ukrainian defenders.

It was previously reported that Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that in the first half of 2026, the pace of advance of Russian troops in Ukraine more than halved .
