In temporarily occupied Crimea, serious communication problems are occurring for the fourth day in a row, adding to the already significant fuel shortage. Local residents report unstable mobile internet and frequent crashes of the “MAX” application.
This is reported by informants of the Otpor movement.
Users complain that calls are not going through, applications are closing on their own, and popular messengers are showing a message about the network waiting. This significantly complicates everyday life and disrupts local businesses.
Sources from the Otpor movement note that this situation is increasing social tension. People are forced to look for alternative ways of communication: they are advised to use SMS and carry cash and fuel.
Strained infrastructure and a lack of basic resources put the residents of occupied Crimea in a difficult position, and the occupation authorities are currently unable to stabilize the situation.
As a reminder, on the night of October 17 , drones attacked temporarily occupied Crimea, causing an oil depot to catch fire in the village of Gvardiyske.
As previously reported, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed effective strikes by the Ukrainian Defense Forces on a number of important military targets in the temporarily occupied territories. Among those hit were an oil terminal in Feodosia, a radar station in Crimea, a drone control point in the Kherson region, and an ammunition depot in the Makiivka area of the Donetsk region.
