Tens of thousands of consumers lost power in Krasnodar region of Russia after drone strike

In the Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation, about 38,800 people were left without electricity after a drone attack.
This was reported by the regional operational headquarters.
Local authorities claim that the power outage was caused by falling drone debris. Emergency crews have partially restored power, but 12,700 customers are still without power.
It is known that an oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban was damaged: technological equipment and a pipeline caught fire. Due to the shutdown of water, electricity and heat in the area, the work of schools and kindergartens was partially suspended.
Additionally, Russian authorities confirmed that five houses were damaged and two people were injured during the incident.
As reported, on the night of December 17, drones attacked several regions of Russia, including the Krasnodar Territory, where an oil refinery in Slavyansk-on-Kuban was hit . Air defenses were in place in the city, and local residents reported a series of explosions.
