Ternuvat is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: Defense Forces refute Russian fakes

The Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine have announced that the settlement of Ternuvaty in Zaporizhia is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Ukrainian military has denied information spread by Russia about the alleged capture of the settlement.
This was reported by the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine.
The Ukrainian military said that Russia is distributing videos claiming temporary successes on the front. The report emphasizes that the Russian military uses such videos for informational influence.
“Russians sometimes post their videos online about so-called “victories for an hour” or the well-known “flag-raising”. As they did in Ternuvaty, Zaporizhia,” the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine reported.
The Ukrainian military emphasized that the settlement is under the control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which continue to carry out combat missions on this section of the front.
“The Armed Forces of Ukraine are in Ternuvaty, where they do their job. Ternuvaty is ours, Ukrainian!”, the military said.
The day before, on February 8, the head of the Center for Countering Disinformation under the National Security and Defense Council, Andriy Kovalenko, reported that in the Zaporizhia direction, the Defense Forces of Ukraine cleared Ternuvaty of Russian military personnel.
By the way, the Russian army is actively dragging its infantry into the northern areas of Pokrovsk – the situation in the city is getting worse and worse.
It was previously reported that the “Brotherhood” unit of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine carried out a special operation in the Zaporizhia direction , penetrating the rear of Russian troops near the Kakhovka reservoir.
