Terrorist attack in Bucha: law enforcement officers detained a suspect
The SBU and National Police detained the perpetrator of the terrorist attack in Bucha that took place on the morning of March 23.
The SBU reported this.
The perpetrator turned out to be a 21-year-old local resident. According to preliminary information, he was recruited by Russian intelligence services via the internet.
“He received instructions from the Russian militants on how to make two improvised explosive devices (IEDs). The agent equipped each bomb with a mobile phone for remote activation. The suspect then planted the explosives at the site of the planned attack: he hid one under a bench near the entrance to a residential building, and the other near the garbage dump.”
As a reminder, on the morning of March 23, two unknown explosions occurred near an apartment building in Bucha , Kyiv Oblast . Two law enforcement officers were injured in the incident.
