The Air Force shot down 139 hostile targets overnight.

On the night of November 16, Russia launched another massive attack on Ukraine, using an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 176 attack drones of various types.

The Ukrainian Air Force reported this.

“Air defense destroyed and suppressed 139 enemy UAVs in the north, south, and east of the country,” the Air Force noted.

According to military sources, the Iskander-M missile was launched from Russia’s Rostov region, while the drones were launched from the Kursk, Millerovo, Orel, Primorsko-Akhtarsk districts, as well as from Chauda on the temporarily occupied Crimean Peninsula.

Around 100 Shahed-type drones were released.

The following were involved in the defense:

• aviation,

• anti-aircraft missile forces,

• electronic warfare units,

• unmanned systems units,

• mobile fire teams.

Recorded: 37 attack UAVs hit 14 locations; debris from downed drones fell at two more locations.

The Air Force noted that the attack is ongoing: new groups of enemy drones are in the airspace.
