The Appeals Chamber of the Supreme Court of Ukraine did not change the preventive measure for Andriy Yermak

The Appellate Chamber of the Supreme Court of Justice left unchanged the preventive measure imposed on the former head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, in the case of the legalization of 460 million hryvnias during an elite construction project near Kyiv.
This was reported by the Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court.
On May 21, 2026, the court rejected the appeals of the defense and the prosecutor and upheld the decision of the Supreme Court of Justice of Ukraine of May 14.
According to him, Andriy Yermak was given a preventive measure in the form of a 60-day detention, with the possibility of posting bail in the amount of 140 million hryvnias.
Since bail had already been posted, the suspect was subject to several procedural obligations.
In particular, Yermak must appear before detectives, prosecutors, and the court; not leave Kyiv without permission from the investigation or the court; report any change in residence or work; and refrain from communicating with other persons involved in the case and witnesses.
He must also submit documents for traveling abroad and wear an electronic monitoring device.
