Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi has signed an order to scale up the collection, processing, and storage of information on violations of international humanitarian law by Russian occupation forces. The document provides for the introduction of uniform standards for recording and documenting war crimes.

He wrote about this in Telegram .

According to Syrsky, the order establishes uniform standards for the operational process of recording data on war crimes detected during combat and special missions. The document also defines the procedure for documenting this information in the Delta Integration Platform system.

“Every Russian war crime will be recorded. Every piece of evidence will be preserved. Every criminal will be identified,” Syrsky said.

It is noted that the Russian occupation forces are systematically violating the rules of war and committing crimes against Ukrainian servicemen and civilians. This includes, in particular, shelling of civilian infrastructure, terror, torture, and executions.

“We must record information about every war crime. About every fact. About every piece of evidence,” Syrsky added.

This direction will be coordinated by the Military Law Enforcement Service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Department for Documentation of Violations of the Law of Armed Conflicts will operate within its structure. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine also emphasized that war crimes have no statute of limitations, and responsibility for them must be inevitable.

“For every war crime, there must be inevitable responsibility for every Russian criminal,” he concluded.

It was previously reported that an indictment was sent to the court in Sumy Oblast against a Russian serviceman who, during the occupation of the region, ordered a tank to open fire on a residential building. A 61-year-old civilian died as a result of the shelling.

We will remind you that the Prosecutor General’s Office reported suspicions to a Russian soldier who shot two Ukrainian prisoners of war. According to intelligence data , during the war, 150 cases of executions of Ukrainian defenders who were captured by the Russians were recorded.
