The Armed Forces of Ukraine are striking at the border: Syrsky reported on the situation in the Kursk and Belgorod regions

During the regular meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief’s Headquarters, the head of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, reported on the actions of the Ukrainian army in the hottest areas of the front and focused on border operations.
He wrote about this on Facebook.
According to him, Ukrainian forces continue to actively defend in the Pokrovsk and Novopavlovsk directions, preventing Russian troops from advancing deep into the defense or reaching the borders of the Dnipropetrovsk region.
Syrsky also emphasized the role of border operations in the Kursk and Belgorod regions of Russia. According to him, Ukrainian units are not only holding positions in this territory, but are also actually fettering a significant group of Russian troops there.
“The enemy will not feel safe near the border. We are constantly keeping him on edge,” the commander-in-chief noted.
He also informed about the general situation on the front, in particular in the Lymansky, Pivtochno-Slobozhansky, Pokrovsky and Novopavlivsky directions, where fierce fighting continues.
As a reminder, the spokesman for the Khortytsia Special Operations Command, Viktor Tregubov, reported that significant Russian activity on the front is observed in the eastern part of the Pokrovsky direction, where the enemy is trying to break through to Kostyantynivka.
As reported, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrsky, stated that Ukrainian troops have stopped the advance of the invaders in the Sumy region. The enemy’s “summer offensive” from Russian territory has been choked.
