The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked key Russian facilities: factories, bridges, and an oil depot were hit

On the night of Tuesday, July 7, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a number of important military facilities in Russia and temporarily occupied Crimea. Two enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex, an oil depot at the Belgorod airfield, railway bridges, and warehouses of the occupiers’ logistical support were hit.
This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the military, the enterprise JSC “Kremny EL Group” was hit in Bryansk, which is one of the leading Russian manufacturers of microelectronics for the needs of the army.
“JSC “Kremny EL Group” is one of the leading Russian manufacturers of microelectronics. The enterprise manufactures microcircuits, power semiconductor devices and electronic components used in control, communication, electronic warfare systems and weapons models of the Russian Federation,” the General Staff reported.
Ukrainian military also struck the Bryansk plant in the city of Seltso, Bryansk region.
“Four explosions were recorded in the area of the enterprise. The results of the damage are being clarified,” the General Staff noted.
The department emphasized that the Bryansk Chemical Plant produces gunpowder, explosives, and rocket fuel components used to manufacture ammunition and missiles.
In addition, the Belgorod airfield oil depot was hit. Information about the extent of the damage is currently being clarified.
The Defense Forces also hit two railway bridges near the settlements of Rozdolne and Ichki in temporarily occupied Crimea. According to the General Staff, these facilities were used by Russian troops to transfer personnel, weapons, and ammunition.
In addition, Ukrainian military forces struck enemy material and technical depots in the Volnovakha and Yasynuvata areas in the temporarily occupied territory of Donetsk region.
“The Defense Forces of Ukraine will continue to systematically implement measures aimed at stopping the armed aggression of the Russian Federation,” the General Staff emphasized.
As previously reported, residents of Belgorod and the region reported numerous explosions. Acting Governor of the region, Alexander Shuvayev, announced a massive rocket attack and damage to energy infrastructure.
