The Armed Forces of Ukraine captured an enemy position for the first time without the participation of infantry – Zelensky

For the first time since the start of the full-scale war, the Ukrainian military captured an enemy position without the participation of infantry – only with the help of robotic complexes and drones.

This was announced by President Volodymyr Zelensky.

According to him, the operation was carried out exclusively with the use of unmanned platforms – ground robotic systems and aerial drones. As a result, the Russian military surrendered, and the Ukrainian side escaped without losses.

The President emphasized that such examples indicate a changing nature of war, where technology plays an increasingly important role.

In particular, the ground robotic complexes “Ratel”, “Termit”, “Ardal”, “Lynx”, “Zmiy”, “Protektor” and “Volya” have completed over 22 thousand combat missions in the last three months alone.

According to Zelensky, this means that in thousands of cases, robots were sent to the most dangerous zones instead of soldiers, which allowed the lives of Ukrainian defenders to be saved.
