The Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the Russian strike on Ukrainian military: the State Bureau of Investigation has launched a pre-trial investigation

The Marine Corps of the Ukrainian Navy confirmed a missile and drone strike by Russian military personnel against Ukrainian military personnel.

This was reported by the press service of the 30th Corps.

The tragedy occurred in the settlement of Samarivskyi district of Dnipropetrovsk region. At the time of the attack, servicemen from separate marine brigades were in the village.

“The strike was carried out in the center of the settlement, where there is no parade ground. Unfortunately, among the dead and wounded are both civilians and servicemen of our brigade. The command of the 30th Marine Corps expresses its sincere condolences to the families of the deceased,” the message says.

As it became known, SBI officers have launched a pre-trial investigation into the death and injury of Ukrainian servicemen due to enemy shelling.

The investigation will verify whether the requirements for personnel safety were met during the air raid and whether the military shelter was properly organized.

At the same time, according to information from the 30th Corps, after the tragedy, some individuals were suspended from duty.

Earlier it became known that the Russian occupiers launched a missile and drone strike on communities in the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the strike, there were deaths and injuries, including among the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine .
