The Armed Forces of Ukraine debunked the Russian fake about Pokrovsk and Vovchansk

Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold difficult sections of the front – Pokrovsk, Vovchansk, Kupyansk. Russian statements about the “capture” of these cities do not correspond to reality and are only propaganda.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In Pokrovsk, Ukrainian military forces control the northern part of the city along the railway. Search and assault operations are ongoing there, during which our units are destroying enemy cells. Over the past 24 hours alone, 104 Russian occupiers have been eliminated in this direction. A group that filmed a video with a Russian flag in the city under the cover of fog has also been cleared.

The Defense Forces are also setting up additional logistical routes in the Pokrovska and Myrnograd areas to provide units with everything they need and stabilize the situation.

In Vovchansk, Kharkiv region, fighting remains intense. The Russians are trying to advance in small groups, using strike drones and artillery. However, the Ukrainian defenders are confidently holding their ground and not allowing the enemy to gain a foothold.

The General Staff emphasizes: the next staged missions of the Russians with tricolors are just propaganda actions. Every occupier who comes out to “take a picture” will inevitably be destroyed by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As previously reported, the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine published new video footage , which for the first time in a long time demonstrated in such detail how the Ukrainian underground movement operates deep behind the Russian troops.

Recall that during the raid of Russian strike drones on the Chernihiv region, one of the “Shaheeds” suddenly counterattacked a Ukrainian mobile fire group.
