The Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the Russian Federation’s statement about the “Volchansky Cauldron”

Russian propaganda is spreading false information about the alleged capture of the settlements of Vasylivka, Dovzhanka, Blagodatne, and Slizneve and the “closing of the Vovchanskyi boiler.”
The 16th Army Corps of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that these statements are not true.
According to the military, over the past six months, Ukrainian units have not lost positions in the area of responsibility of the 16th AK. The defense forces continue to restrain the offensive of Russian troops, and have also regained their positions in the areas of Milove and Odradne.
The corps noted that Russian soldiers are trying to penetrate deep into Ukrainian defenses in small infantry groups. They are being detected in a timely manner and are being targeted with fire.
Over the past week, Russian troops, according to the 16th AK, have lost 154 servicemen killed and 124 wounded. One MLRS, four guns, 17 units of special equipment and 43 units of automotive equipment were also destroyed.
The unit called the statements about the “Vovchansky Cauldron” another example of Russian propaganda. They recalled previous statements by the Russian Federation about the alleged “control of Kupyansk” and the “liberation of Svyatogorsk.”
It was previously reported that the Armed Forces of Ukraine denied the claims of Russian propagandists about the alleged capture of the village of Khrapivshchyna in Sumy Oblast. The military emphasized that the settlement was and is currently under the control of the Ukrainian military.
