The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 1,080 occupiers, 42 artillery systems and two tanks

As of the morning of October 16, Russia had lost about 1,127,300 troops since the start of its full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Over the course of the day, the enemy’s losses in manpower reached 1,080 people.

This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The total combat losses of the Russian army from February 24, 2022 to October 16, 2025 are approximately:
