The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine updated data on the losses of the Russian army in the war against Ukraine. Over the course of 24 hours on August 23, the Ukrainian military destroyed 1,490 occupiers, 68 artillery systems, and over 1,700 Russian UAVs.
This was reported by the press service of the department.
Total enemy combat losses from 02/24/22 to 08/24/26 were:
- personnel – about 1,478,070 (+1,490) people;
- tanks – 12,293 (+1) units;
- armored combat vehicles – 25,211 (+9) units;
- artillery systems – 48,519 (+68) units;
- MLRS – 2,056 (+2) units;
- air defense systems – 1,586 (+1) units;
- aircraft – 440 (+0) units;
- helicopters – 354 (+0) units;
- ground robotic complexes – 2,368 (+16) units;
- Operational-tactical level UAVs – 478,327 (+1,761) units;
- cruise missiles – 5,052 (+0) units;
- ships / boats – 35 (+0) units;
- submarines – 2 (+0) units;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 138,773 (+554) units;
- special equipment – 4,575 (+6) units.
