The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 720 occupiers and 40 Russian artillery systems in a day

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has updated data on the losses of the Russian army in the war against Ukraine. Thus, over the course of 24 hours on February 22, the Ukrainian military destroyed 720 occupiers, two tanks, and 40 enemy artillery systems.
This was reported by the press service of the department.
The total enemy combat losses from 02/24/22 to 02/23/26 were approximately:
- personnel – about 1,260,500 (+720) people;
- tanks – 11,696 (+2) units;
- armored combat vehicles – 24,082 (+13) units;
- artillery systems – 37,510 (+40) units;
- MLRS – 1,654 (+2) units;
- air defense assets – 1,304 (+1) units;
- aircraft – 435 (+0) units;
- helicopters – 348 (+0) units;
- Operational-tactical level UAVs – 143,878 (+1,765) units;
- cruise missiles – 4,347 (+33) units;
- ships / boats – 29 (+0) units;
- submarines – 2 (+0) units;
- automotive equipment and tank trucks – 79,636 (+136) units;
- special equipment – 4,073 (+0) units.
