The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two Russian “Grad” rocket launchers on the Hulyaipole-Pologi highway

Ukrainian paratroopers destroyed two Russian Grads on the Hulyaipole-Pologi highway in Zaporizhia region. This road is used by the occupiers to transfer troops and equipment.

This was reported by the 7th Corps of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of the Ukrainian SSR.

Two BM-21 Grads were tracked down by operators of the 237th Unmanned Systems Battalion. One of them was destroyed by the military on the outskirts of Hulyaipol when the Russians fired directly “from the wheels.”

Ukrainian fighters caught up with and hit the second “Grad” while it was moving along the highway towards the city.

The military explained that this road runs approximately 15 km from the front line. The Russians are trying to use it to transport personnel and transfer military equipment.

The Russian Defense Ministry noted that it is becoming increasingly dangerous for the occupiers to travel along this route. Strikes on logistics are also complicating the Russian troops’ offensive in the Hulyaipil direction.

It was previously reported that on the night of Thursday, September 17, drones attacked several regions of Russia . In Rostov-on-Don, a fire likely broke out on the territory of a military airfield, and in Yaroslavl, the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery caught fire.

As a reminder, the Syzran and Saratov refineries in Russia have halted oil processing after attacks by Ukrainian drones. One of the refineries could remain out of service for at least a month.
